The Name Neokibo
Since the majority of the subjects posted on Neokibo.com concerns North Americans, and the entire Americas without exception is made up of people that stem from all corners of the Old World, I made up a name to loosely represent everything and everyone from the Old World.
Using the Latin word “neo” to represent the west, and mixing it with the Japanese word “kibÅ” to represent eastward confines, I formed NEOKIBO. You can translate it to “NEW HOPE” as “neo” means new and “Kibo” denotes hope.
Content Format
Anticipate multiple type of content and where it will be expanded and defined later as the site matures. Currently there are only two types, commentaries and articles.
Comments are short to medium in length and there may be multiple comments per day or none at all. Comments may be supplemented with an image and most likely heavily edited for our pleasure, educational purpose or to simply point out with precision a subject matter. An image is worth a thousand words, and I will leave it at that as it will become a trademark for this site.
Although seldom in nature, there will be articles of interest as well. As these articles accumulate, I will add them to the top menu to avoid being faded away over countless pages as the comments do.
To take note, often the content I am reacting to is located on other sites, therefore within my posts, expect links to other websites and where I may implore you to read or view the content partaking to the topic and not just take my word for it.
The Content
Neokibo.com is a personal site and with that in mind anticipate content as varied as there is life on earth. The majority of the daily comments, if any, will be simple reactions to my surroundings, off-line and online. Did I say earlier the content will be as varied as there is life on earth? In other words, there is no borderline.
The short comments be it negative or positive are of no great value, but the articles that will come by occasionally, those, you have to watch for as many of these articles are to my opinion significant work and worth the attention it will produce. In fact, these upcoming articles are a major drive as to why I needed a website.
About Me
My name is John, I was born, raised and live in the only place where the sun sets in the north, which happens to be an actual place in North America. I created this site to add to the noise of comments already present online and a bit more.
